Tournament Rules
Sixes coed — how November 8th is played.
- 16 players a side — 2 males and 2 females on court at all times, libero included.
- 2Rally scoring. 3 contacts max per side, no consecutive touches by the same player (except after a block).
- 3Clean hits only — no lifts, carries, or double hits.
- 4Serve from behind the end line; boundary lines count as in.
- 5No touching the net. Back-row players can't attack above net height in front of the 3m line, and can't block.
- 6Libero: different jersey, can't serve, attack, or block. Free sub for back-row players, and swaps must keep 2 males + 2 females on court.
- 7Pool play: round robin, 3 games per team, 2 sets to 21 (win by 2, cap 25) per match. A 1-1 split is decided by total points — no third set.
- 8Playoffs: single elimination, Championship and Silver divisions set by pool results. Best of 3 — sets to 21, 21, and a deciding set to 15 (win by 2, caps at 25 / 25 / 17).
- 9No "iron man"ning the front row.
- 10Two girls on court at all times. A libero subbing off does not count as on court — a libero girl means 3 girls are needed.
